The Idea of this program is to train students from various backgrounds to the fundamentals of the data science and artificial intelligence, so that graduated students become experts in interdisciplinary subjects in the intersection of their background and data science. One objective is that students get opportunity to master in the deep theoretical aspects of data science or industry oriented applied aspects so that students can venture into industry or academia. One challenging objective we address is to balance the program in such a way that students from backgrounds in Mathematics or Civil Engineering, or Computer Science, or Data Science get properly streamlined towards the end goal mentioned in the above two points.
